Before I start into the Pros and Cons of this saber. I must say I am super impressed with it's construction and very pleased with the purchase! This thing is incredible! Cons: (get these buggers out of the way) There is no external access to the guts/charging of this saber. It's completely encased. Which is nice but means that when you need to charge, access the board or turn off the saber you are removing the end cap (three screws). Because the Teli is two sabers that can be combined into a saber staff, you are also removing this end cap to put in the junction piece. Depending on your useage, it ends up being a lot of wear and tear on screw holes and screws. Guts Three(3) Screws. The core is compact, and the casing around the Proffie board is built in such a way that you can't get a micro usb in the port to connect and edit the content. You have to remove the micro SD card and connect via an adapter. This equates to that SD card being removed and installed several times to test profiles created/edited. Switch, Card, Charging Port Micro USB Port Pros: The construction of this thing is SOLID. I was surprised at the quality and weight. This isn't a plastic replica! The blade is held in with three(3) set screws which provides adequate stability to duel with confidence that the blade will remain in place. The intricate detail in the hilt is spot on for Satele Shan's saber staff. Going xenopixel is worth the price, combined with the customization of the Proffie board, the sky is the limit for combinations of colors, sounds, and music! This is a must-have for any collection! A couple of things to note for potential buyers: When used as a saberstaff with 32-inch blades, this thing is 7 feet, making it more cumbersome to swing and maneuver. I recommend 24-inch blades for "Staff mode". Get an extra set or two of batteries, keep the battle going! As a lifetime Star Wars fan, I was thrilled when I discovered Whispers of Ilum. There are so many amazing choices and the website displays all of them very clearly and professionally. So well in fact I honestly questioned if I were looking at AI. However, I took the leap of faith and made my first order for the WalkerV2 (Weathered) When my purchase arrived, it came with everything pictured online; Two different hilt caps, three different guards and of course the saber hilt and blade. In all honesty I was surprised at how well made they all were. Everything fits together smoothly and all of the parts needed to attach the blade and recharge the electronic Ever Core were included; several different length set screws, 2 different tiny Allen wrenches, recharging plug and of course the essential instruction manual to program and use the saber. I am delighted with my purchase and look forward to adding many more in the future!
